just ordered my heater core. I'm excited. I want the heat back in my jeep!

also, my friend offered me to use their heated garage to work on my jeep as well. really hope it doesn't take too long to do....

 

just know, the entire dash to the firewall,front seats,center console,steering column,out and on the ground long

I don't put it in 4WD in the snow. So I can't really say. Remember I don't usually DD mine so a lunchbox locker was a good choice for me.

 

You can hope. It will take a full day for sure.

Sold my kerosine heater last night on cl for 150 going to buy a better electric on this morning with the money

 

I know. Just wondering though. 2 wheel drive cant get you everywhere in snow. Ill keep looking around for more info. Not getting one for a while anyway.

 

yeah i know its foing to take a full day of work. i just dont want to have to leave it there overnight.

 

Plenty capable with out them. I'll probably save up and get one for the rear next year.

Locker or LSD? Why rear instead of front?

 

I'm saying getting an electric one for the rear. Or an air one. I don't want to lock the front until I beef up the axle a little.

I'm gonna Aussie lock the D30, and I'd like to do in e-locker in the D44, but I'll probably get a TrueTrac. From my understanding, it works like an LSD and is more predictable on-road than an auto locker, and is also cheaper than a selectable.
