it would be a bit intense (rpm wise) at highway speeds, but would be great for crawling

this chart shows RPM for each combination at 65mph at a 1:1 drive ratio (top gear manual tranny) - add a bit (100-300) for 3rd gear auto, subtract a bit for overdrive
yellow = economy, black = balance/stock feel, blue = power

eeeh... is there some sort of calculator to find out what mpgs you would get? i heard people getting better mileage with one of those combos, but i cant for the lift of me remember.

yes
thats exactly what i have! automatic, DD, weekend wheeler. and i want 33s. if i put 4.88 gears in stock, would it help my mpg?

you guys worry me about all this talk with 33's

cause mine has 33's on it and its going to be my DD on just about all highway but i have no idea what gears are in it lol.

5 speed like mine? 3.07s. ideally we want 4.10s for 33s
