Some shops out there won't do it because people are idiots. Not saying he's an idiot, but if I were a shop owner I wouldn't install remote starts on a manual car just simply due to the shear amount of idiots out there these days.

Today was the last day to have the red '96 to be taken thru emissions. CEL on, went and took it to the station. Waiting in line, the CEL goes off. Pull in, make thru and pass inspection. Pay, leave, am pulling out other end of bay, CEL lights back up.
SUCCESS!!!

Yeah, I'm aware there are safety features involved, but there is the old saying.. build an idiot proof system and they'll make a better idiot.

LOL i know that feeling all to well with my honda civic i had be like ok its off go there get in line pass start back up 1 min later ding its on again lol winning.
