I drove up to pa to get it. I met a really cool guy who luckily was a mechanic because my heater coil sprung a leak right as I pulled into his driveway. He was able to bypass it for me. That fixed the leak but it was a COLD ride home! Here are some pics of his rig. His name is will. He frequents rausch creek often.
gimme some more details on where the gang bang... i mean gangfix would occur

Hello and welcome to cf and the Md jeepers. I must warn you though, it becomes a very expensive addiction. Have fun, hang around and ask away.

I was searching for 8.25's on craigslist and stumbled upon him.
On another note I just started cleaning up my replacement rear driveshaft. I brought it inside so the primer could dry and noticed this. Is this a problem? It's supposed to be for a 8.25.

Well plans fell thru for the motor swap today (all my buddies were working till 7 and I feel like drinking now ha). Anywho....

I will be doing the removal tomorrow of the old one, and hopefully start the install but on Monday (since it's a holiday) I'll be working on it as well. I was wondering if anyone would be generous enough to lend a hand?? Let me know which day you could come buy PM me or shoot me a text (use you CF name and real name ha (fourfourthreesixzerofivetwothreezerofive))

hammer them out using a hammer and a socket that is just smaller than the inside diameter of the caps. then when you cant extract one side anymore, tap the ears with a hammer and it will be good. ive replaced so many god damn u joints it isnt funny. the pic you posted with the markings on the driveshaft... did you have an 8.25 before?
