I think I might be in the market for an AR-15.
You'd be surprised how many people in MD have SBR's registered. You have to pay $200 for a tax stamp but its worth it in my opinion.

If you are in the market for an AR and its your first just get a Colt 6920. There are lots of reasons to build your own but you can't beat Colt's warranty and customer service.

AR's are addicting so plan a budget of 1500, get a Colt 6920, 6 Magpul 30 rd mags, a good sling, an Aimpoint Pro sight, Magpul BUIS and then move on. Thats everything you need for a target/home defense/sporting/shtf/truck gun.

Put at least 2000 rds of ammo through before you even start to plan another AR purchase.

Are those the same size tires on Chris' (wormdrink)? I'd need to install the JKS ACOS up front and get a shackle relocation with JKS boomerang shackles in the rear if I wanted to fit those. I'd prob have to trim fenders as well.

Yup. Seriously good deal. Shame they're not 265's, It would give me an excuse to put Moab's on the TJ.

I'm in new market too. I can pick them up and hold them. Might be able to squeeze them in the garage.

I'm sure it's gonna turn out to be an addicting and expensive hobby. I have a ton more reading to do and just started looking it them. But this jewel caught my eye already
