I'm not a fan. Used to have a box turtle named Cecil. It would only eat lettuce and tomato; nothing else. Smelled horrible, had to clean out the tank twice a week.

box turtles like lettuce, but they make lousy pets, i had 6 at one time when i was young,and whenever i came around, they disappeared into their shells,i let em go
