He just emailed and said your Intrpid rims most likely had a high offset of 35-42mm with 5.25 back spacing and would sit too far in and would rub. To be more accurate he would need the exact size and offset to see if it would fit. Also have you checked to see if the wheel center bore is the same?

well they were on the blue XJ when i bought it, so they fit the XJ. though thats more backspacing than i thought they had, guess i remembered them a little differently than what they are.

I wouldn't mind a little rubbing as long as it's not absolutely horrible. it'll be the white XJ which is my trail rig,, and I don't mind doing some trimming.

I'm just looking to get the ZJ fixed to pass MSI, once that is done I can begin some planning on a build.

I have a few things in mind .... to start off with a life, how high is the question.

It is a black Limited model with a all the toys and buttons, just not sure how far I will take it but it seems to be in really good shape except for the rust holes that started behind the front wheels on the backside of the fenders.

Gonna seal those up and put some sort of 'paint over rust' inhibitor on it. Though I have removed as much rust as humanly possible to include running a magnet down inside the length of all exposed channels to put out any flaked off rust I want to use the inhibitor as added insurance.

Oh and the magnet worked quite well .... thankfully rust us attracted to the magnet.

Internet Speed ..... who cares, so long as it works!
