That's quite a compliment coming from "The Master". It really was just a matter of knowing the part name and a lot of research. I may even try this repair myself. The tube is pretty rusted so should I use pb blaster before i try to remove? I don't want to damage the pump
It can't hurt. Usually those are put on with teflon coating.
The big part is obviously to cut the heater bypass so you can turn it out. You need a plan to do that....after that you are home free.

Well there goes my self repair....lol. I have everything else, but no way to cut heater bypass "Darn it". All is not lost,I'm sure Jake can cut bypass and then do repair. Only thing is his XJ went up yesterday. Anybody else want to help me with this? I'm willing to put in some work to get it done.

ordered my Uniden CB with built in SWR reader. seems to be stronger and beefier than the 510. its called the Bearcat or something. plus 18' of coax cable and a 4' black firestick antenna.

-thought about that, but i cant afford one, we should pool monies though and get one, i would be happy to pull it, we could use it if sumpin breaks and has to be drug back or whatever, cuz nobody really has a dedicated "trail-rig" cept Frosty mebbe
