The Uniden 520 looks and feels cheap...but everything I have read refers to surprising performance.

With that being said...I think you could do better on pricing if you look around.

can anyone tune a radio that i get? that one comes with a tuner, thats why its so much. i calculated it all seperate and the kit is cheaper.

SWR built in? If so...I can tune it....

If not...I do not have an SWR meter....but if you got ahold of one I could.

Shirley the radio doesn't matter anywhere near as much as the antenna/cable. A cheap radio will perform fine with a good antenna setup, but even the best radio will not perform well if used with a crappy antenna

Idk I have power and I was using it to talk to drivers at my work then the next day they can't hear me and I can't heat them unless I put it on pa lol
