they look seriously sturdy. other than your turdy ones that will just bend and look like a mistake, ill have a trail scar! plus 10 hp.

 

From using the same stuff to build decks and fencing, stuff breaks pretty easily, especially in winter. IMO, I wouldn't use it for flares.

 

true, I'll look more into the stuff later. Though there was another idea that I had/wouldn't mind looking into for the rear/front. It'd be different, but more jeepspeed like. let me see if i can find a picture of what im talking about.

 

theyre cheap and easily replaceable. i like the look of them because theyre flat flares. if i break one, no big deal, following day take an hour or two and make a new one from the left overs from the original ones.

 

Just don't try to use baseboard edging stuff...i know someone remembers those hideous flares lol

And dukie I think there was a glitch in the matrix..when my phone was refreshing just now "dukie564" was up at the top in the pics next to" mud digger"...then it changed right back...weird

its called Azek. i plan to check it out and buy a small peice or scrap peice and play around with it before i commit.

 

anyway, here's what im talking about with the rear. something I may look into doing, but not as pronounced I guess. obviously these are 2 doors, but that's why I'm saying less pronounced. but something along those lines.

lol yeah exactly. probably either fiberglass or sheetmetal, wonder if there would be a cheap easy way to do it..... but basically able to stuff the tire up there would be nice. would create a lot of room up there. probably not ganna happen, lol, but we can dream, lol.

lol, I saw that rusty's had them for the front, but i didn't see the rear on there before.

like i said, something to look into, but most likely won't do.

 

I thought about the fronts, briefly, but then thought about how upset I'd be if I broke one. They aren't going to be good for trails, they aren't going to like trees.
