Anyone know about boat laws? I bought a boat from craigslist, from a kid in pasedena. He hadnt filled out the title when he bought it. So i bought it with the intention of getting it all straightened it out. Dnr told me he had to. So i got a boat and no title. He got the money and i got a feeling hes giving me the run around. This has been going on for 3 months.

 

I've dealt with blown speakers and a stock radio since I got the heep...but now the radio cuts out and I have to punch it to get it back on...i think its finally time to break down and replace it

I was told by DNR (against my better judgement) to send it to him. So he could pay the 22 fine and get the title put in his name. Then once he gets it in the mail, to fill out the top portion only and sign it then mail it to me. Then i could fill it out and mail it to DNR with a check and be done. Ive been waiting a long time. Im thinking i might need to call his mommy and daddy and see what happens.

He however was never the owner. He falsely sold me a boat he never actually owned.
