Does anyone have experience or feel like getting some with trapping animals? Apparently there's something running around in my attic, and short of going up there with a knife and trying to slaughter whatever is up there, I have no idea what I'm doing, especially in terms of locating where it got in and how to repair it.

maybe. I did find this jewel of info on there.

Should I feed squirrels peanuts?

Only if they are unsalted. To much salt is not good for the squirrel, it increases their heart rate. This in turn, can contribute to an early death.
just feed 'em to death!
