so if you are looking at the engine bay the fan to the left would be the mechanical one? because the one to the right was the one that was unplugged.. i never looked at the left fan to see if it was mechanical or not because it was working..

 

is it big and made of metal and attached to the engine? LoL

So when I go look at this jeep what are the major things I should look for?

Obviously if it runs and has no rust, we are going to test drive it. I want to have the guy get it md inspected tomorrow if we can so my gf can get it on the road asap (before she leaves for college) but we don't want any issues to arise later.

 

Another busy day, got rid of the dark blue '00 finally! Putting the exhaust back on my 2 door and still at it on Russo's Jeep.

my89xj just left here. did some wheeling in a field and he got pretty stuck. broke his exhaust off from the muffler back and bent his tailpipe 110*.

 

remember now... i put the "newbie" in my username for a reason lol..

on that note... the GEN light is comming on because of my 1 electrical fan.
a sign the alternator is going bad? or something else?

 

that light is for the alternator.
