I need new ball joints so I'm going to post up here to get everyone's advice. I replaced my balljoints/hubs/u-joints 30,000 miles ago and it looks like I need to replace my balljoints on the driver's side and a U-joint on the passenger side. I went with Spicer U-Joints and Moog ball joints last time.

What are everyone here's opionion's on MFG's? I've been reading through some threads and it looks like some people aren't happy with MOOG due to quality control. I'm not sure if it's true but I've heard factory Mopar stuff is Spicer. Is it worth going to a better set like Synergy or XRF or would that be a waste of money? I don't feel like tearing the front apart again next year after 20k miles.

Mornin yall. Anyone have and engine stand i can borrow?

 

I'll be going with the Synergy's next month when I pull my front for an axle build. I like the fact that the load is carried metal to metal and both joints are greasable as opposed to just the upper. Also, the Mopar joints are Spicer, which I put in back in February but was told by Mike at Appalachian Offroad the ones I had were made by TRW for Spicer. Figure if I've got to pull the knuckle, might as well upgrade and be done with it.

Seems like a lot of money but worth it if I don't have to do it for the life of the vehicle. Are the Synergy ones the same price no mattery where you go?
