Why not use .250 wall 2x2? No bending needed. Make the frame for the Tire/Jerry can mounts more rectangle.

Wanted to be different, I mostly see square tube ones... There are many forrest green Xjs on 3.5 with soft 8s and cb mounts, there may only be 5 with round tube tire swings lol
