My wife 2006 grand started making a loud thumping. You can feel it if you place your hand on the trans tunnel at the rear seats. Does it randomly. I've checked all the mounts for trans and transfercase. I drive shaft looks straight and all bolts are tight. Trans fluid is good and so are all other fluids. Can't think of what to try next. Any ideas?

Can anyone explain how the dirtbound fan controller upgrade works? Is it worth the extra 50 bucks? Having a hard time comprehending things today I've read the description a couple times and I think it says you can designate a set point to have the fans come on but who knows.
