The whole point of a lunchbox locker is so you do not have to pull the carrier. Just pull out the spider years and install the locker.

Easier to do it on the bench....pulling the carrier affects nothing. Screw putting lock-right springs in on my back at that angle in front of the axle.

Pull the carrier...10x easier and you will thank yourself.

Yes. Outside of hard to follow directions. It went in fine and has worked like a charm. I used oliver and Cordelia's lift. Truth be told Oliver did the majority of the work.
