saw your fix. take the bolt out. have someone move the steering wheel back and forth while you look through the bolt hole. tell them to stop when they line up.

yea you need to get that TRE nut torqued down. As for the other side (axle side), have someone get in the truck and use the steering to shift the truck body over the axle till you can get the bolt though the holes.
