No...the AX-15 is somewhat famous for that...haven't had one that didn't.

 

sounds like a clutch issue maybe? Is this from a dead stop? Try waiting a second or two after stopping to throw it in reverse.

mine doesn't grind at all...ever...

 

Speaking of turbines, I have one that was in my jeep as the spare when I bought it. No center cap but does anyone want it?
