Alright Jon, I remember one detail I left out last night. When I went to switch the speaker outputs around, the jeep was on and I touched the screw driver between the output set screw and the amp case. It made a pffft sound, like when you initially plug in a speaker or something. Did I fry the amp? Shouldn't the fuzes prevent that if that's the case? That's when I remember the buzzing and thumping starting initially.

jakbob: i just wanna take my wheel hub caps off. but the lugs have to come off for that to happen.
trouble shooting question: just found out that my power windows arent moving up and down correctly. the drivers side switch basically wont work at all and when i tried putting up the passenger side front window my dash lights dimmed and the battery charge went from 14 to 9 or 10 instantly. theres a clicking noise when it happens to. it only happens light that when you wait a minute between hitting the switch. the passenger side door switch is a little better, but starting to do the same thing. HELPPPP

Yeah you probably messed up the amp. The fuse would probably not have protected it. Did you see any smoke? Disconnect that speaker and see if the sound goes away or hook up one speaker to each channel and see if the problem is on all channels. If possible buy another amp (or borrow) and replace it and see. You can always take the amp back afterwords.
