Those tow points didn't exactly fail, the mode of recovery failed. They weren't winched out, or even pulled proper. They were snatched out with a hard pull. And more than likely by a chain, not a strap.

Ill make you some recovery hoops.., weld the hooks closed then all you have to do is throw a d-link in the hoop when you need tugging

yeah, but still. i dont trust them.

Came across some pick-me-up pictures... as slow as this friday is going I needed it...

First we have a leaky T-Case

then the downsides of a snorkel
