Mine is rattle can flat black. all i did was newspaper anything i didnt want painted and sanded the parts i was painting. its been a couple years since i did it and its holding up just fine

whos ready for the bonding. i have the dumb question if the night. what is the reasoning behind cutting the sides off a stock front bumper? the tires wont hit it right? i cant see how they would...

You mean like my XJ? It's for clearance up front. That way you can hit an obstacle at an angle with your tire and drive onto it, instead of hitting it with your bumper and stopping.
