If I was getting annual payments of $25mil for 26 years because I won the lottery, I'd be putting $24mil/year (less taxes) into an account to build interest while I live off $1mil/yr. I'm pretty sure I could make do with 6 zeros a year, not work again, and live off interest after they stop paying me in 2037.
