Anyone want to assist with lifting my gas tank into my cargo area? I want it to rest on it's seem on the floor. When doing it, the rest of the floor needs replaced, and the rear frame rails need sleeved. I have all materials, but my welder has taken a sh&t.

Thinking of making 2 runs, one down each side and branching off to sensors. Also thinking bout doing away with computer and going msd ignition
Not worried bout o2 sensors, have historic tags

why I ask my tech questions here and not in the tech forum:

OP: my XJ's ride is bumpy feels like a rollercoaster, are my shocks bad? btw, I might lift so do I need new shocks?

Answer: if you want a better ride, buy a ZJ.

I know a lot of questions can be answered by searching and reading up, but relevant answers and replies go a long way.

yes you need new shocks. lifting without new proper shocks is like getting an oil change but putting half of the used oil back in. i prefer my xj to all zjs ive ridden in. stock zjs feel like they are floating... dont like it.
