Yeah but the clear coat, base coat and primmer are all pulling away from the sheet metal on the hood. I have to strip it all down to bare and then even touch up paint would look off, wouldn't it? That's why I was just thinking of bedlining it like I did my lower quarters, and my rear bumper and soon to be front bumper.

Yeah that's true as well. Bed lining it is then, plus I already have two gallons of it so I have no further cost into it. lol

I'd like to bedline my rear bumper. It's seen better days. Is anyone on here willing to show me how to do that, or do it for me? I can prep the bumper, but I've never painted anything.

I used Rostoleum truck bed lining on my lower quarters, rear bumper and soon to be hood. Stuff works pretty good IMO. I used 2 coats on my lower quarters and 3 on my bumper, held up good so far. I have a couple chips from rocks and such but it's easily repaired with another squirt from the can.

Just be conservative with it and apply a couple coats. Even though it's thick it will run if you get too close with the can or apply too much at one time. The first coat may not completely cover everything, but wait til it's tacky and do another and you'll be happy with the results.
