I am the original owner of a beloved 2001 Cherokee Sport (406,000 miles) and need to find a reliable repair shop to install some parts that are beyond my abilities, tools, etc. Can any of you from Central New York or North Country recommend an independent repair shop on which I could feel good about. As many of you may know, the dealers and even many independents act like they're scared of putting a wrench to a car that old. I keep the car in Syracuse but mostly use it n the North Country near Watertown, so anywhere in that range would interest me.
