I posted in the other thread. All you need to do is drive around east of Nichols rd for 5 minutes and you'll find at least on modded XJ.

Club I use to belong to was NYC Jeep Club. Lot of guys lived in queens and western long island. They have a forum. Been a while since I've talked to anyone since I moved to Jersey, but they were pretty active and made bimonthly trips to Rausch Creek. Plus the guys were pretty cool and had a meet last Friday of the month in the Home Depot parking lot in, I believe Woodhaven blvd.

Pretty great group. I try to take part in as many of the club wheeling trips as I can.

I'm from central Long Island and just finished lifting my 2000 XJ, if only I can find some off roading spots on LI. Anyone know some good ones?
