so plasti dip is in a rattle can?
does it have the consistancy of bed liner paint, just smoothed,but thick????

or is just another satin black paint.

never heard of this stuff, the name made it sound like those 1 gallon cans we used to buy to dip our screw driver handle and plier ends into so they had a smooth grip.

Does this come in different colors? I have a few ideas if it does....

Same stuff,but this is already thinned so it will shoot through a spray gun. I'm doing the whole XJ Monster Green, maybe black fenders and quarters if it comes out too bright.

It's actually liquid rubber. It comes in a rattle can or thinned in gallons to shoot bigger projects. It will peel off like vinyl without damaging the factory paint.

Did my wheels in plasti -dip it comes out like spray paint, takes a few coats but drys nice.

Initially it lays on alittle heavy but as it drys its really smooths itself out.

Exactly right. It levels just like and oil based paint would on a surface. Dries in less time though because I believe water is the vessel it travels with so it evaporates quicker.

I'm a paint rep for Sherwin-Williams so painting all kinds of different things with different coatings is a big part of my job so I got to plasti dip at work for "research purposes"
