Oh they would love you for sure. But then they would go on a rant about all the other things wrong. Unless you get lucky one of the cops has a lifted wrangler so he was really cool the last time. I'm thinking that's why they have been a lot more laid back lately.

Yeah a friend of mine that I went to tech school with lives out that way. He has a lifted old Toyota truck. That thing was so illegal its not even funny. And he never had a problem. Pretty sure if he came to ocean city they would shoot on sight. Lmao

Like sounded like a tractor printed out insurance sticker tires stuck out so much you could sit down and have dinner on them illegal. Lol

Nope I've always just said I was at 3 inches of lift. Anything over 3 and I think you need the tilt test. But the only time they get on you for that is if you drive one of those stupid looking huge pickups.

its funny that you guys are talkin about cbs. I had taken mine out, but i am now goin to reinstall it. I'm on channels 22,20. "CHEROKEE"

I'm getting read to buy some LMR-400 low loss coaxle with soldered ends. I have a 1983 cobra 148gtl that is clipped and tuned. i also have a kennwood 30w lin amp. with standard cb cable i was peaking @ 80w and rms was about 60-65.

My brother inlaw just got some LMR for his cb. So we installed the cables to my cb and tuned the swr and i was peaking @ 150w and my rms was about 115. I would have never dreamed i was loosing somuch. what a difference.

Tha LMR removed all the reisistance that i was carrying with standard cable. So i'm gettting some of that sh!te...lol

That's awesome! I really want to get a nice setup going again but it's hard to justify with so many other things around the jeep that I need to do. Once I have my current setup matched It should do pretty well. There are a couple people that meet at a local wawa that are pushing series power. Like talk through your microwave power. Lol
