They way I found them is visit local wheeling chapters websites and see where there local runs are. Or maybe find a 4x4 shop they would know.
Oh btw most wheeling is pay for play now a days in the east

keep in mind, wheeling on private property and undevoloped land that is not yours dosn't help our sport either. This only helps people that hate our sport close trails that we as a 4x4 group use.
which part of the east? im in ma/ri and a 4x4 mechanic i know told me some places like 25 30 min from where i am. do you know anywhere around here where you can pay to play? idk bout the money i just want something more than the hill and stones in my driveway

Hey, i'm in CT too. I know a few places to go wheelin. I couldn't go with you since my jeeps currently not running. Most of the trails are my friends private property and there are some public access roads around the area that are seemingly difficult for a stock jeep.
You can try CTjeep.org but they are pretty much not doing anything as far as I know.
Also, Google earth is your friend....kinda.

I like using Topo maps to search where the trails are. On the Maine maps, many times it shows 'Jeep trail'. Once I've located a trail, I investigate by stopping at the entrance and asking the landowners for permission. Most are pretty good about it.

Rausch Creek is the main place for the North East it seems. I don't know how far you wanna drive, but it's well worth a couple hour drive to spend a day or two. I've seen many people there that have made a 200 to 300 mile drive. I know a few places near my home to wheel but they are questionable at best as far as legality and to play it safe I'd rather just stay away.
i go there several times a year from ri and its worth it to me.
legal wheeling in ct is slim, and what legal wheeling there is isn't very challenging for anything above a stocker
moving this to north atlantic btw
