You can easily handle the green trails and they still have their fun and/or challenging parts for a almost stock vehicle, especially with newb driver. Run around on trail D, O, 101trail, 14, Js, etc. - they are fun, but like I said still a little challenge here or there for someone on their first time out. After the first time or two, they will become almost second nature, but then you can bump up to some of the blues like 23, etc. A stock xj can still do those, but even more challenging spots, clanking and scraping, etc. Just stay clear of the black trails, Ive been on them for about 2 years now and killed a TJ and a Xj. People roll daily on the blacks. Especially trail 5 and 20.

Me and 2 buddies are heading up to Rausch to wheel all day Saturday.
I have a 99 XJ Classic on a 6.5" LA kit with 33s, locked in the front.
My buddy has a 2010 JK on a 4" lift and 35s.
My other buddy has a 99 XJ on a 3" lift and 31s.

I only have a 3" lift with 33's and I was doing greens, blues, blue/blacks. I did get some wavy fenders from the tires getting stuffed and a dent on my lower drivers door, but that just adds character. I am also not bumpstopped properly, so that was the main reason my fenders were eating my tires. It was my first time ever wheeling and it was awesome and I handled everything fine with the help of spotters and advice.
