Well, I survived my first Jeep gathering. It's a little intimidating being one of the only stock Jeeps there, but I still had fun and met a lot of cool people.
I tried to register for a Trail Ride on the easy trail, but even that trail had minimum requirements of recovery points, and I don't have those, which is something I wish they had put on the advertisements for the event as they said that Trail #1 was stock friendly. I know Wranglers come stock with tow hooks on the bumpers, but my XJ doesn't so that's something I'll be installing in time for next years event.
