Default Free offroad spots near York/Harrisburg PA

I just got my first XJ and I am right between York and Harrisburg. Does anybody know some wheeling spots other than all the ones where you have to pay to get in? I heard of Tower Road in Enola and Guts Road in Manchester. Never went to them though. Just looking for some fairly easy trails since I have a XJ with a 4.5 inch lift and 31" General Grabbers and no locker yet. If you know of any or want to wheel with me, send me a message or reply. Thanks

You're in my neck of the woods. I live in Manchester, grew up in Lewisberry/etters. Not really anything legal per say around here short of private property. Rausch Creek is the closest. Hit me up if you need help or any parts. I've got 2 xj's now, ones not Street legal (on 1 tons,40s, and all cut up). The other is a recent acquisition that has a minor lift and 30s(for now).

Cool. I go down the creek on the old Stillhouse lane if you know where that is. It's like 2 minutes from my house. I know that a lot of people went there over the years. I was thinking on heading over to the grafetti highway in centralia once I get my jeep inspected and get my 33s. I think there are lots of trails that lead onto there. Im hoping to go up there around December once I get my actual license since I'm only on my permit right now.

Stillhouse ln, that the one with the dirt bike track off of valley Rd? I think that's stillhouse Rd... Can't remember, but I think there's a Creek back there. I know the train tracks lead to the river. Centralia always sounded cool, never been there though. I used to run gut every night back in my highschool days, but not anymore, except to fish. I'm also a mechanic, and fabricator if you need help with any of that. Check out the pa Cherokee club thread in the stickies too, we post plans for Rausch and whatnot in there.

Stillhouse ran from Valley Green Rd to Valley Rd. There used to be a road there a long time ago but not there arent any traces of a road other than foundations for the old bridge across the stream. I'm not sure when the valley green golf course was put it, but it is right near there if you know where that is. It's a nice stream to drive up. I've went about a half mile up it until there was a tree across the stream. I only had a 3" lift and 31s at that time so it's not very deep. There is a stillhouse Ln and a Stillhouse rd near each other. Stillhouse rd is the one with a dirtbike track on it and it used to be my friends house but he moved last year. My xj will probably be ready to be inspected next week after I put my exhaust manifold back on. I could do it this week except for the fact that itll be raining nonstop and I don't have a garage. Once I do that I'll probably go to gut rd or some other places with my dad or uncle. I'm looking for more people to wheel with so I'll check out the pa cherokee club
