Ill be up there, look for a big yellow cherokee with boggers, stop by and say hi! Im local, well within 15 minutes from butler, really cant wait for it! All registration is closed, im told the police are the reason why they cant let anyone else in, also there is only so much room. They said that this is a 5 year annual event, on the 5th year it is going to be a 7 day event! Hope to see you guys there

Do you have to be pre-registered in order to be in the parade ? I would like to drive up from south central Pennsylvania to drive in the parade, but don't want to be hasseled bacause I don't have the right documentation/window sticker/ etc. etc.

From what i understand everything is full (parade, show and shine, trail rides, etc.) but maybe you can try to call up there.

Well it was quite a trip but made it in one piece. Minus the radiator / oil leak around 150 miles into the trip. Nothing a visit to an auto parts store couldn't fix

Found a nice shaded site to set up camp

Went on to line up for the parade

Now just hanging out drinking beers ..ill get some more pixs in the am when my phone is charged

I'll be there tomorrow (Saturday). Kinda hard not to go when it's in your backyard. Should be a good time.

I am a Butler native and a devout Cherokee nut! I was so excited to see everyone turnout for this event. My 15 yr old and i are currently working on our 1995XJ and were not able to get her done for the festival. We will be involved in it next year for sure! Hope to meet some of you next yr. Thanks for coming to the festivities!!

Man had a great time, the parade was awesome, they announced today that they had 1106 jeeps. I had a good time taking the jeep to the show and shine today and playing on the playground. Doubt ill be out tomorrow, weather looks crappy
