I want to start off roading, ive never done it before and it looks pretty fun. The only real experience ive had is driving around my families farm out in Howard County, MD but aside from that im a fairly novice driver. My questions are as of right now,

Are there any good trails in the MD/DC/VA area?

Are there many other Jeep people around here?

 

Try marylandjeepclub.org they have trail rides at least once a month. Anything from mild to wild.

 

I'm in Hagerstown, MD. Nothing that I know of except for Green Ridge State Park near Cumberland. Its okay, nothing crazy though. I did it when my XJ was stock.

 

yeah i've been looking for something too. I'm in Laurel

 

^^ You're just up the road from me, I'm in Beltsville. Hopefully picking up a XJ this week, just have to find the right one.

 

I'm a newbie and I'd be very interested in this as well. I live in silver spring, MD and have been itching to go off-roading for a long time.
