2012 Laredo E-Group Price and Additional Warranty

Contemplating purchasing a 2012 Laredo with E-group. List price is $31,820 I see on CarsDirect (I've used this as a bargaining tool before) their target price is $29,853.

Since I've never bought a Jeep before is that a reasonable offer I should give?

Also, what are my options with an extended warranty, what do they cost and are they worth it?

Basically all low end models on the lot have it: keyless entry power driver seat power lumbar support sirrus radio for 1year ... I wouldn't buy it but that seems to be the new base model for 2012
