We need a date that gives people a few months to plan. But ya don't want it to close to X-mas due to lack of funds. Pushing it off into the new year makes it to where people forget about it.
Hmmmm I rekon middle of October... That may be too soon for some. But that is the best date I can think of.

Morris mountain isn't too far from me, and I know a few XJs that would love to go. Just went to Hale Mountain ORV park on Saturday for a night ride.............also a damn good locations.

It sounds like there's a lot of interest in Morris mtn! If everyone wants to do a private ride, great. But here is another idea I thought I would throw out...

It would definitely be more crowded, but if we get there early we can get in for free, there's a raffle, and it would provide some awesome entertainment for the guys who want to see some of the crazy built rigs beating around.
