Uwharrie is fun.. theres one trail there that has a nice size rock that you can climb or go around.
Uwharrie is in Troy NC. I rode that place for 3 years every other weekend. Rain or shine. Great place. Go there if you have a chance!

Gulches is just a couple miles from the house. Ive been a couple times in my 79 Bronco on 39.5 Boggers, the smaller trucks did a lot better than me. Hoping to have more fun there after jetting the Jeep up.

I've never been to gulches but want to go once my axle swap is done. Do a search on Youtube for some vids. From what i've been told its a great place to ride and not just a bunch of mud.

Uwharrie is fun too for a nice easy day ride. There are bypasses for anything too hard but whats the fun in that? We have taken anything from stock xj's and tj's all the way up to full blown tube buggies up there and always can find something to have fun on.

My youtube name is Mudrider01 I have a couple of vids from Gulches on there. Its easy to get to. Go across the Harris Landing bridge, turn left at the stop sign at Waterloo Food Store, Turn right at the next stop sign at the church, turn right at the next stop sign and its a couple miles up the road. They have a big sign out front.

Been there several times. I've enjoyed it every time I went. If you enjoy mud, go when it's wet. There's nothing like wet red clay. Otherwise it's not that bad. There are some nasty hillclimbs and enough rocks to keep your attention. My bent bumpers and missing bumper cap is proof of that.

There's also a new park that opened up in Liberty. I haven't been there yet, but from what I hear it's pretty nasty. The owner has this thing about tank traps

Ive got some pics/vids on my build thread that I took at Gulches this weekend. Ive got some other videos on youtube from this past summer when we took some Samurais down there. Lot of fun, Skip normally keeps a mud hole or two for those who love the mud. Its definately not all mud runs. Any of it gets a lil messy if you go when its been raining, but its a good all around park IMO.
