No, I don't lick fish.
I actually live in Brooksville (Hernando county) which is about an hour or so north of Macdill. I'm way up there about 6 hours away from Ft. Lauderdale on the opposite coast, guess more than one place down here calls itself the "nature coast" lol I've heard Avon Park is pretty nice though, once I get a trailer I'll have to take a trip down there so I don't lose what's left of the tread on my MT's lol I read in one of the other posts you're familiar with New Port Richie? Brooksville is about 25-30 mins north of there straight up 19 (if the traffic permits) or you can take Shady Hills Rd through Spring Hell if you dare! ENCO eh? You a 12 series or support?

Always fun times when you guys are around, I ran with 7th Group for most of my career till the first back surgery in 2009, now i sit behind a desk and get fat :/
Brooksville is a tiny little podunk town and honestly I like it, hell I got 5 acres so I better like it at this point lol

Welcome... you picked up a good/bad xj lol. It's kind of a bastard year. 1996 was the body style split so it has some parts from the 95 & down and some parts from the 97 & up. Everyone I've talked to that's had a 96 loved it though.

Shoulda stopped by here, after I said hi in the main thread.
In Norcross, GA. '89 Limited. First Jeep, 35th vehicle. Just tinkering on her so far, trying to get her reliable enough for trails, by the new year. Hopefully sooner.
Chasing down starting issues at the moment. And a wheel that seems to be welded to the hub via black magic.
Can already tell, this will be an ongoing project.

New XJ owner in Nashville Tennessee
Hello all,
I joined CF a few weeks back right after I bought my '99 XJ Sport. It's all stock as far as I know, got it with 144k on it. I wanted an SUV after my car accident... totaled my '97 Buick Riviera avoiding some dumb b***h that wrecked her car and was trying to flee the scene... the wrong way on a split highway!!! No 4 ways on or nothing... she should have been arrested. I live 15 minutes NE of Downtown Nashville, and go to school in West Nashville. Look forward to talking to you all more.

Repeat XJ owner from Metro Atlanta. Just picked up a 98 Sport 4X4 with 168k miles for $450. First one was a 99 Classic that I had in high school and college. Looking to pick up a Rough Country 4.5' lift and some 32's or 33's. Going to keep the stock steel 5 spokes for right now. Gotta install my new column and pick up some window regulators to get it suitable for semi daily use. Also getting a pretty intense death wobble around 45-60. Ive got a new neutral safety switch on order and gotta chase down my P0463 code. Visual inspection under rig didn't produce any "easy fix" results. Guess ill wait til I run the gas out and drop the tank. Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know you guys and do some wheeling soon!

2wd mostly stock. Trimmed fenders with BFG M/Ts and following the 4wd jeeps aaaaalllllll over the place. Don't let anyone look down on ya for bein' 2wd, it'll still get around! There's more 2wd Jeeps on here than you'd think.
