I did more research since posting that and it seems Iron Rock has been generally accepted as having superior products.

I'm currently using my Jeep as a DD with the intent to go mudding once in a blue moon. What complete 3.5 lift kit would you recommend?

You are correct instructions do say that.Never heard of such a thing myself..One kit does say v8 model also the other don't I noticed.. Me Id go IRO ive had Rc didn't like the stiff ride quality .

I've had RC for 2yrs or so & can't complain, any time I had any issues they've helped me & sent replacements with no hassle & the ride quality is good

I had no issues with my first lift either it being Rc only noticed the difference when I went higher.

Stealth mode is now engaged on The Outlaw. No more red!! Although im now second guessing painting her in the dark while enjoying a couple Jim Beams........
