Cowl induction vs snorkel! Gahhhhh


Pros/cons?

 

They both have pros and cons. Some of the most important ones are
1: price, cowl is cheaper
2:looks, with a snorkel your ***** gets bigger
3:usage, how many times are you up to the window in water

Some people don't like snorkels because driving in the rain can get water In the air box. I personally think they are mostly for aesthetic purposes I personally would never forward water that deep enough to need a snorkel in my dd. but I will probably end up doing something similar to a cowl

Yah i was thinking about rain/ dd etc. especially where we live. Thinking I may just cowl it, call it a day. Not often that water hits the windshield. Plus I have room for 35s, decent upgrade from 31s. And my tires are basically sold so I can upgrade.

Also snorkels negatively affect the sexiness of xj looks cowl hoods add to it and serves its purpose every day. now if your talking cowl intake it also is just a funnel for water to be ingested .
