and im gonna try for 35's but i cant find any decent price kits for under 1500. and its gonna be a mostly weekend wheeler anyway if i get it. the xj market is slim around here, in my price range and in good shape.

That should have nothing to do with the transmission. Did you try readjusting the TV cable?

Gotcha, Its worth a look at least. If it is in my area I would be willing to at the very least take a peak at it and let you know if its worth trying to find a ride down acrossed the bay
