It's still going to be the end of the month, maybe first of next. I just want to set it in and make sure all the accessory brackets for the alternator, A/C, P/S, etc fit in there and I don't have to make or modify any brackets. Oh, and make sure the hood will close...lol Once I have it in and know everything is in place and the hood shuts, I have to pull it again to mock up the trans and t-case for mounting, then back in one last time.

Hopefully I can score that TH400 over the weekend!!!

This is the height of the Chief but I have a Wide track so it has larger wheel wells. Same grille and body though.

 

hope ya get it worked out, i did a 25 year tour had alot of ups and downs but there does come a time when you dignity comes first your no1 in the end ...try as much as you can but when that point is reached its reached...

 

Yeah man, I saw several jeeps and a load of motorcycles out there, and there are a bunch of trails that I have seen when I stopped and took a walk out there when we were in the boat.

Very nice, at least you will be able to get larger tires under it without having to cut the wells...
