Don't have a tread and don't really plan on it... Im going to tell you that if you have some one to lend you a hand and some extra tools do it you are lucky because you have everything you need and an external clutch slave. I can't really tell you what the difference between wheeling in the aw4 and the ax15 because I was a 2wd auto and I just put in my 4x4 ax15(still haven't installed the front axel) I would ask Freegdr and Outlaw since the have the most experience with jeeps, from what I've Hear and read it's more fun and takes a better driver to play with the 5 speed.

The choice is really yours do you want a better or do you want to upgrade your toy(the 5spd came with the 3.07 but if you swap it in the the auto you will have roughly the stock gear ratio while on 33s but dont quote me on that)

I'm PMing you this as well just in case you don't get it here

thanks, i got your pm to.

i was asking more or less to see if you ran into any problems. i'm one of those **** people that want it like it was from the factory... or atleast just want stuff to operate properly.

my plan was to gut the inside of both jeeps and put the complete interior from the 5 speed into the auto (the po started painting the auto's interior black and it looks like ****) and was going to swap harness' as well if needed. i'm also going to swap the steering colums and engine harness, pcm etc just so it's all like it was from the factory.

my auto gets about 11 mpg and my stock 5 speed has been getting about 17-19 in the city....seems like every time i wheel i break something so i was thinking it might not be a bad idea to keep the 5 speed as a daily driver. it actually is better off road tho... it rides smoother and has a lsd rear....but it's a d35 . i have also been thinking about selling them both and picking up a clean bone stock 5 speed xj and keeping it stock and away from mud.
