And then what? Risk getting a chitty tranny/transfercase... I don't have the funds to fix anything that goes wrong with a 4x4 atm, besides, all the times I've been stuck is because of one wheel spinning. Nothing a locked rear couldn't fix.

AW4s are pretty good so I don't think you will have a problem, a D30 is a D30, and NP231 or NP242, or all out with an NP241?
