Quote: Thank you. Did and there are two as of yesterday. Might even snag teh GC rear headrests I've wanted to add to my XJ

Thanks again.

Here is the exhaust list I think I'll go with

Magnaflow 23226 direct fit cat
Flowmaster 40 series 1 1/4"
Cheap rear tailpipe unless someone suggests a specific brand.

Thought about going 2.5 but didnt want to mess with the downpipe since I'll be installing in my driveway.
Have you looked at Performance Curve for a whole cat-back set up?

I did and he has the 40 series I'd like. The set ups seem to need a bit more "professional" help like welding hangers etc. I emailed my guy at Morris to see what he can do for me. They dont carry the 40 series but amazon does

Get one of these to put after the exhaust manifold
Amazon Amazon

4.0s exhaust manifolds are common to crack and these help to have enough movement to not cause a crack in the manifold

Was looking at those. Will need to be welded on. Anyone had to replace their exhaust Manifold?

Seems the $$ Banks will crack from my reading and I'd hate to be out that amount of $$. Anyone have the RR or Drake headers?

Crown seems to have a nice OEM style replacement. Then there are Ebay ones that have a love/hate according to my readings.

Mine hasn’t happened yet but seems like it happens a lot with older jeeps from the 80s
Did you weld it back?

That's right in my backyard LOL. The guy who parted it out originally, is part of our local Club.
