Spoke to tony about my truck, it's ready and the locker is whitin specs...
His gear guy even spoke to Aussie reps and they didn't even have an answer jus that it "requires" a break in period...never heard that on a locker
As experts say it's just the nature of the beast...just gotta ride it out
What's a good thing is that when I drive my truck back home it'll be over the 500 break in miles, diff fluid change and finally get to try it over 55mph

Good evenin' everyone!
I think most of you guys probably aren't aware, but I'm a 9-1-1 dispatcher in Marion County. The Ocala National Forest occupies a good 1/3rd of our county. I don't know if y'all have ever heard of the "Rainbow People" or the "Rainbow Gathering", but they like to hang out at certain sites in the forest once every year... and every year, US Forestry Service has to call in additional units to keep order among the.... shall we say "alternatively lifestyled" people that travel around together and attend these "gatherings".
So since they have to call in extra manpower, they call upon us for a dispatcher to monitor their channel during the duration of the gathering. Every year, they give us a "thank you gift" for our assistance. The first year I did it, they gave us a Leatherman knife with the USFS logo etched onto the blade, the year after that, we got another knife with a seatbelt cutter and glass punch and a custom USFS logo in the handle.
This year, we got YETI cups...

Now, I'm not a brand snob. Frankly, I've been perfectly happy with my $10 Ozark Trail cup and the FREE RTIC cup that I found laying in the storm drain in the parking lot at work.... didn't care a thing about getting one that said "YETI" and paying 4x as much for it. But I was pretty excited when this was the gift. I can always use more cups and I like that the logo is embossed on the side so I have something more than just a plain stainless steel cup. Hey, it's better than a $2500 hammer, right?
Anyway.... thought it was cool of them to do so I figured I'd share.
