Good morning guys. Tearing down the 3.0L this Saturday to assess the damage. Going to be driving the 93 XJ for a while instead. It's only 2wd so no offroading for me. That and the wife will kill me.

Man I love jeeps! They are so easy to work on!
When I had to remove the intake and exhaust manifold I had them out in under an hour...I could imagine the head would've been another hour or less to remove...
I think I might do it towards the end of the year to refresh the head...

 

Hey dudes, just wanted to say thanks for helping me get squared away on the U joints. Basslicks and I knocked em out easy peasy after a few mishaps including a harbor freight vise that exploded into pieces on us.

Also wanted to mention there is a Commanche out at 40 East Service Center in The Ocala National forest. They had the grill off, don't know what they are doing with it but might be something to look into.

Morning all. As alot of you know Ive been struggling the last few years to make ends meet. Im getting close to looseing the fight with homelessness. Might be needing to say so long to the forum. As no internet will be financially supportable. I might be needing to trade Jeep for a van for better sleeping arrangments. I will try to keep my cell on as long as possible.
