They don't allow jacks BUT scrounge around the back of some of these jeeps and find a stock bottle jack and get a hood that's laying around or Something for leverage to lift the vehicle off mounts....
That's what I did in order to get the zj gas tank skid for my current Cherokee...

 

I think jacks are a liability. Where you at if you're close I'll give you a hand.

Welp, I bit the bullet and ordered the complete A/C system for my daughters 99 XJ, last week.
I just finished vacuuming and charging it about 2 hours ago.
I'd forgotten just how quickly a new A/C can get uncomfortably cold. Especially with leather seats.


I got daddy points coming in the morning.

I got the compressor, orifice tube, and accumulator for $300 or so, shipped from rockauto. I don't remember exactly how much because I ordered the same stuff for my sons exploder. The total was just over $660 for everything.

Yup. I picked Jennifer up from Miami Dade this morning at 11, in her Jeep. She got in and started screaming when she felt the AC. I got a hug, and then when we got home, she called her friends, asked me for gas money and money for lunch. It's 6pm and she's STILL not back.
