2 & 4wd use the same cable. I got a complete one with screw on the gear side and plastic clip on the gauge side. Cable is 94" long.

It's about 1.5' longer than the MJ but plugs right in and is off the shelf. Just pull the little excess back into the trans tunnel and you'll be fine.

Awesome...I had one that was 96" long...
I forgot to put the clip onto a stud along the engine fire wall and while doing a test drive I was smelling burning rubber...popped the hood to find my speedo cable was burning off the exhaust....
I couldn't find a replacement speedo cable till now thanks

For that Speedo cable, can I just reach up under the dash to disconnect it from the back, or am I gonna have to pull the cluster behind the steering wheel? Mine stopped working as well in the YJ

That YJ I postwd cable works fine in my MJ. It's about 1.5 feet longer than the XJ/MJ one but you can pull that excess back in the tunnel.
Got an email from Crown and they will be releasing an actual MJ/XJ (w/o cruise control) replacement within a month or two. They've had quite a few requests for it.
Gotta pull the cluster forward a little unless you have girl hands. Lol.

Gonna go out to my farm today. Let a few run the field since it's rained so much. While I sit back, drink a few and maybe wrench on the tractor. It's almost 2 acres tilled up just so people will have a legal spot up here.
